The Real Presence (part 1 of many)

This will be a quick post on a topic that I will attempt to focus on many times in the future: the Real Presence within the Eucharist and the crisis of Faith in the Church.

I want to direct readers to the following article:

www.crisismagazine.com/2015/the-worthy-reception-of-the-eucharist-neglected-at-the-synod?

This is, by far, the best article I have read about the true current state of affairs regarding the Eucharist in the Church.  There is a real debate about the Real Presence in the Eucharist among the faithful and the Clergy.

If the shepherds don't believe, then how can the sheep?

If the seminaries are substantially compromised and hotbeds of deviant theological thought and behavior, then how can they produce Priests who believe?

If Catholics really believed in the Real Presence, would we really see what we see occur every Sunday at all of our parishes around the world?

If the Church doesn't believe in the Real Presence, what is our ultimate fate?
